Great question. Hosting is paid for directly though the SquareSpace platform, meaning I don't take a cut for any hosting costs. That being said, hosting typically runs from $15-$40/month depending on what plan you choose. For example, for a tyical e-commerce plan, hosting is $26/mo. if you pay for a year upfront. Otherwise, it's $30/mo., month-to-month. The yearly plan can be canceled at any time and you will recieve a prorated refund. I also have a special 10% discount code on any of the plans above, for the first purchase (whether it's a year or month purchased upfront).

Most domains cost around $20/year, and you can find many .com domains for free if you purchase the first year of SquareSpace hosting upfront. That being said, some domains can cost a bit less, some can cost as much as $100,000! Luckily, you should be able to find an affordable domain.

Another great question. This is a bit difficult to answer, as you can think of building websites like building houses. It depends on the quality of materials used, the level of architectural engineering involved, among many other variables. It is extremely difficult to find an honest web designer for under $1,000. Many firms have a $10,000-$20,000 minimum on website design. Fortunely, with SquareSpace, we've streamlined a lot of what we do, so that we can deliver quality websites for at least half the cost of competing firms.

Simple. We take a 50% deposit upfront, and 50% upon completion. We have yet to run into any issues with these terms. We have an online portal that payments can be made through, but we can also take checks.
